The Book Condition:
These book sets have been published in the late 1800s - early 1900s; they are over a century old. I am not a book dealer, and I do not grade books on condition, so I'm only describing them all as I see them. All of these books have implied wear from being over 100 years old, including discoloration, darkening, all have tan or browning pages, and are all a little to a lot dusty, and most of them have writing in them. The pics show more details if you enlarge them. I will not break up the sets, please don't ask. But, I may list an exciting individual rare book once in a while! :)

I attempt to touch these books as little as possible. I cannot flip through them all to count that every page is there, or inspect every flaw (please don't ask me to). There may or may not be missing pages that I have overlooked. Anything major will be noted below.

Pathways in Science, The Earth and Living Things by G Craig and B Davis Hurley
Ginn & Company Publishers, 1932
Cover is dirty, color illustrations, stamped with school name on inside page.
5-1/2 x 7-1/4"

Language Lessons Part One by Metcalf & Bright
American Book Company, 1894
Some pages in front missing, spine is separating.
5x7"

History of Mary Queen of Scots by Jacob Abbott
(from the Altemus Young Peoples Library)
Henry Altemus Publishing,1900
Solid, some marks on cover, library book, stamped on inside cover, looks as if it wasn't opened much. I left the library card in the back cover, which has been stamped many times :)
5x6-1/2"
