The HAMSA is an ancient midle eastern simbol. The word hamsa means five for the five fingers hand shape. It is used in both arab and jewish culture. It is considered to be an amulet for protection against bad luck and evil eye.
In some places the hamsa is known as 'The hand of Miriam'.

The silver HAMSA pendant is handmade of sterling silver hammered 15 gauge wire, using hand tools only. it is sculptured directly in silver no mold or scatch, it is soldered and hammered out to hardness and texture, and polished manually.

It comes on a 45 cm (~18 inches) sterling silver fine links chain that can be shorter or longer upon request.

The pendent is 4 cm (~1 1/2") long and 2.5 cm (~1") wide.

The pendant is made with free hand using hand tools only therefore it may differ slightly from the one in the picture, the difference will be bearly visible.

This pendant is strong and sturdy, it was made to last long and to be used with comfort.
