Shipping policies

Ships within 2-5 business days of purchase via USPS Priority Mail to the continental United States. Please make a note at the time of purchase if you would like me to send you a tracking number.

Shipping combined orders for pottery is usually not cost-effective, but if you send me a message prior to purchase, I can determine if this can be a cost-effective and safe way to ship.

PACKAGING:
Packaging/handling is included in the cost of shipping, and great care is taken to ensure that your items arrive safely.
Each item is individually wrapped with bubble wrap and a layer of clear wrap to hold the bubble wrap securely in place. Butcher paper or newsprint is used as a buffer between bubble wrapped items, and these items are sealed inside an internal box. The box containing your pottery is placed inside another box with a 1" buffer of bio-degradable packing peanuts -- on the bottom, all sides, and the top. This box is sealed and the shipping label secured to the top.

If an item arrives damaged, please notify me IMMEDIATELY via private message.

CARE + TIPS for ensuring longevity of your new pottery pieces:

Please bear in mind that while the pottery I sell is functional dishware, it is still art and should be treated with some level of care. Everything is made by hand, one at a time, these are not factory-made pieces. They are fired at a mid-range temperature, 2167 degrees Fahrenheit -- which makes them food, dishwasher, and microwave safe.

Following these tips will significantly increase your use and enjoyment of a handmade pot:

-- Avoid thermodynamic shock by not putting pieces in the oven, or pouring boiling liquids (rolling boil or close to it) in a pot, do not put pieces on the stovetop/open flame, avoid prolonged freezer storage (more than a couple of hours) .

-- Handle gently and avoid impacts...take special care if using in the car.
