Vintage Industrial Cheese and Butter Slicer "Elgin" Cleveland Faucet Company Circa 1901.

This is a beautiful piece used in groceries and mercantiles as a way to slice and divide 1 pound butter or cheese blocks. Usually sitting up on the counter where the grocer could quickly slice, divide and wrap.

On the back it states; Pat'D in Canada DEC 31-1901, ELGIN Pat'D AUQ 20, 1901-SEPT 6, 1911 in USA Cleveland Faucet Co.

No chips on the porcelain and stands 9 inches tall 4 inches wide and 8 inches long. This cast iron 4 piece set weighs in at almost 8 pounds.

A perfect decoration piece, kitchen tool, or to be used in your small town grocery/farmers market.
