Description
I tell of sweet water
honey dripping across lips
and thighs
the richness of love
the sparkle of sun-kisses across the water
This handmade Story Goddess carries the energy of Oshun, the African-Brazilian river & love goddess, youngest of the Orishas. She is cast in resin and colored with rich gold pigment with gold sparkles. Her silver-tone belt carries a honey jade gemstone bead and a gold-tone sunflower charm as well as a small golden honeycomb charm. Oshun is associated with love, sensuality, pleasure, luxury, and with sweet water (instead of ocean water) as well as with all that is golden, rich, and glittery. She represents the things that make life worth living, is known for being sweet and sexy, and is often depicted as having a "honeypot" carried around her waist.
The belt is removable and can be interchanged with any of the other belts in our Story Goddess collection.
This goddess is meant to be a companion goddess, to travel with you, to share your experiences and stories, and to bless your space--your desk, your greenhouse, your office, your pocket, with her power and essence. She is about four inches tall and very sturdy--she can get wet or be dropped without being damaged.

Notes:
Each figure is handmade and has small imperfections due to handcrafting such as trim marks, seams, fingerprints, or bubbles that make them unique.
Sculptures are each finished for you when you order. We usually ship within 2-3 days of order, but may occasionally need 5 days before shipping.

Prana Devi Dec 11, 20185 out of 5 starsThank you for the little modifications you have done for me, especially by adding the swan to this Story Goddess she now represents the mantra I learned with my Teacher at our last immersion. She taught about the Gayatri mantra as being like the light of consciousness rising in our hearts. It's warmth and sweetness illuminating our being with Divine wisdom. The Swan you added represents Saraswati in the form of Gayatri. Thank you so much.Oshun Goddess Sculpture (Osun, Oxun, Ochun, love goddess, sweet water, orisha, river, priestess)
