Remember when microwaves first came out around 1980 and what a wonderful thing it was?! Back then, the Betty Crocker (aka General Mills) Company decided to publish a microwave cookbook, and here it is, a First Edition copy and hardback book. It's in excellent condition with its book jacket, published in 1981 in the USA, and has loads of recipes, color pictures, and introduced us to microwave cooking (how they work, "with invisible light waves") and special techniques. It has 281 pages, not counting the extensive index in the back (7 pages) and you'll be amazed at what you can cook in the microwave. (Such as Golden Fondue, Mallow Mint Parfaits, Chocolate Espresso, Brownie Nut Cupcakes, Summer Ham Dinner for Six, and much, much more!) There is one small dent in the upper right corner of the cover, but otherwise it is in excellent condition. It is 8-1/8 inches wide (across) and 10-1/4 inches tall.
