Butler Dice are a favorite among serious gamers around the world. Each die is 3D printed with steel and then hand finished.
DETAILS:
Designer: Ross Butler
Material: 3D printed Stainless Steel & Bronze matrix with painted recesses.
(3D printing steel involves printing the dice with steel powder and then infusing the "raw" pieces with bronze in a furnace to solidify them. The final mix is about 60% Stainless Steel / 40% Bronze. Due to the bronze content, the color can vary a bit. Different lighting also shifts how the color looks. Bright light = more silver; Dim light = more bronze.)
Approximate Sizes & Weight:
- 15mm cube
- 8.5 grams (Plastic dice average about 3g )
These are full sized gaming dice with about 2-3 times the weight of plastic. They feature a unique hollow design that keeps them from being too heavy, and makes them feel just right.
We highly recommend rolling these dice on a felt lined dice tray or similar surface to protect table tops and reduce noise.
