This is an aluminum medallion, figurine(?) of a Colonial, or Revolutionary war type soldier which is approximately 4-1/4" tall x 2" wide x 1/4" thick. The tape measure in the picture is for reference only and is not included in the sale. He is wearing a vintage 1700s coat, cap, a bag at his side and boots. (see pics) It has Wilton Columbia, PA and the date, 1972 in Roman numerals on the back. It does not stand upright as the bottom is not completely flat ( it could be sanded flat and smooth if needed). I'm not sure what this was originally,if he was British or American, or if it were attached to something previously but it could be used for a craft idea, ornament, conversation piece, or??
