Returns & exchanges

We can truly relate on how hard it can be to shop on-line for such important items! We too struggle with those kind of decisions when we purchase on-line from some of our suppliers.

However, since all pieces are handcrafted to order and due to the special occasion nature of our items:

~~~ALL SALES ARE FINAL -- no refunds, no exchanges, no returns ~~~
Please kindly be aware that we are unable to issue cancellations once an order has been placed.
We are more than happy to answer any questions or provide additional information in order for you to make the correct choice when ordering.
Shipping policies
Effective April 8, 2013, our listings are now available internationally on a case-by-case basis. Convo me with your country of origin and we can discuss shipping options and/or issues.
Shipping and handling charges apply to both domestic and international sales. Those charges vary per order. We ship via USPS Priority or Express Mail unless other arrangements are made with us prior to purchasing.
*** NO alterations nor modifications made to the purchased item after it is shipped.
Additional policies
Due to the high volume of orders and inquiries at this time, we are unable to accept custom design requests nor design modifications to our listings.
** Size customization may be possible on some listings for an additional fee. Please send us a conversation for details on how we handle size customizations and what the associated fee is. **
Rush orders are taken on a case by case basis and will have an additional fee. The minimum charge on rush orders is $25, but the charge can be higher depending on the requested time frame and on the labor and details of the garment or item ordered. Convo me with the time frame you are needing it by and I can let you know if I can accommodate the rush order and the associated fee.
Since we use silk fabrics on many of our creations, please note that silk and silk shantung have a textured effect produced by the silk yarn. Slubs and variations in textures occur during the weaving process due to the irregular nature of natural silk yarns. These are not defects, it is characteristic of natural fibers and of hand crafted fabrics, like silk and silk shantung. These inherent fabric traits make the fabric more susceptible to snags since the surfaces aren't completely smooth. Additionally, in some silk fabric lots we receive, there may be a darker thread or two that might be woven into the fabric. Again, this a natural occurrence in the weaving process with natural fibers.
Also, there is only a slight color difference between white, off-white and ivory silk shantung. The color difference is only discernible when comparing the fabrics side by side. Since silk shantung is a natural fiber, the fabric lots we receive and use for our creations may have a slight color variation. Silk shantung fabric swatches are available at no additional cost prior to purchasing.
Additionally, we have 2-3 people inspect each item we ship to ensure all is just as listed and ordered. We are especially mindful of inspecting the garments we make with silk fabrics to make sure there is nothing out of the normal range of silk fabric texture variations (as described above) and that there are no snags nor stains on the garment prior to shipping. Dry cleaning only recommended with silk fabrics.
Our goal is your complete satisfaction and the honor of your return business and referrals.
