Description

These are the 3d print files to 3d print a Mandalorian Helmet code name: "The Drop Bear" It has some distinct advantages over resin helmets.

Minimum printer size requirements: 250mmx250mm W 280mm H

The design comes with built in cooling ducts which you can optionally fit ducted fans that sit in purpose design holders in the cheeks of the helmet, they have covers so your hair will not get caught in the fan and extract air from the outside of the helmet and blow it out over the visor area, this will mean you remain cooler longer and your visor should not fog up.

Provision for two rocker switches that can be accessed easily while wearing the helmet. The other is spare and can be used for future upgrades (for example voice amp or RF motor)

All the helmet files to print the helmet in a variety of options, the helmet is design in a minimum of two parts so you do not need to use as many supports and was specifically design to be printed, its not just some render that someone has cut up with no idea how to print something.

The helmet has been pre-sized to Small, Medium/Large and XL based roughly on Bell motorcycle helmet sizing.

This helmet can be and has been successfully printed in ABS, ASA, PETG, PLA, PLA+ If printed in PLA the helmet has been designed with screw mounting points so you can bolt it together and not rely on glue. If you print in ABS I still recommend ABS welding, as its just a stronger attachment.

You get the regular fett/jango earcaps but also deathwatch and Fenn Rau.

The earcaps are separate pieces that need to be glued on. I leave them off so people can customise the look There are a few different styles included in the download inclused a rebels Fenn Rau pilot style.

I personally print these helmets are at 200 micron using some high end machines and have printed about 50 so far. These models are the refined versions with all overhangs and optimisations already applied, no messing around on your part.

These are the model of fan that are used in this helmet: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/4cm-40mm-40x40x10mm-5V-Brushless-Square-Blower-Centrifugal-Turbo-Cooling-Fan-2p/262895452902?hash=item3d35ca42e6:g:M1sAAOSwsW9YyL2J
