Crochet your own sweater or one to give as a gift with the Strata crochet sweater pattern! This knit look sweater is appropriate for intermediate crocheters and adventurous beginners who are comfortable reading patterns. It features an easy stitch pattern (with video tutorial) used to achieve this modern knit look. Pattern includes links to 5 videos to help you along the way, including the best technique for achieving straight seams when crocheting in the round.

All the information needed to make this circular yoke sweater is in the written pattern. The pattern includes links to several of my You Tube videos to provide extra help (for those who desire) with such things as working in the round with turns, foundation sc in the round, sc in the third loop, and sleeve separations. You can also view the videos on You Tube before purchase (search for Teal and Finch).

This pattern was updated 11/9/19. If you have previously purchased this pattern, go to your Etsy account to download the new version or contact me. I truly hope you enjoy my patterns and maybe learn a little as you go. I work very hard to make my patterns and videos as understandable as I can. I’m available to help and answer any questions you have along the way.

Love it! Easy to follow, but I need more practice getting the gauge right. Beautiful jumper

Written very poorly, lacks a lot of instruction for a pattern that was $6. Many rows were written as follows: "Row 3: ch 1, hdc" That being the only instruction for that row. Requires you to watch several videos to understand the pattern making it impossible to print out and follow off paper. Increasing for the shoulders is all shoved into one row making the sweater look uneven and wavy. Confused me several times even with 12+ years of crochet experience. Overall disappointed but this pattern would have been acceptable for maybe .99¢ but definitely not worth $6.

Response from Jen

I’m sorry to hear your project isn’t going well. Did you read the pattern notes? It sounds like there may be some information there that you missed. I put a lot of work into making sure my patterns are written correctly and I do my best to make them as understandable as I can. As always, my customers can receive free one-on-one support via e-mail and I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.
