DESCRIPTION:

"Swanky Llama" is all decked out in the finest embellishments. A pretty flowering cactus helps sets the stage for these sweet and dreamy decor items that you can make yourself!

This set of fully-illustrated patterns and instructions in PDF format will help you create the llama and cactus in the pictures. No sewing machine is required; everything is done by hand using simple, affordable, and readily-available materials.

PLEASE NOTE: This pattern is rated as intermediate difficulty because it requires greater time and patience than most other patterns in this shop. The intricate embroidery and hand stitching is not difficult, but is time-consuming. If you have little or no experience sewing and are nervous to try this project, perhaps you could try another pattern first. However if you are an adventurous crafter with patience and attention to detail, you should have no trouble completing this project, even if you don't have experience with hand embroidery.

APPROX FINISHED SIZE:

Your finished llama will stand approximately 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) tall. The cactus will be approximately 5 inches (12.5 cm) tall.

TIME TO MAKE:

The llama should take about 5 hours to create and the cactus will take an additional 2.5 hours. It is not a hard project, but it is a labor of love due to the time involved.

• Craft felt (or wool felt, if desired)
• Embroidery floss
• Embroidery needle
• Scissors
• Straight pins OR glue stick OR tape/scotch tape
• Printer & copy paper
• Stuffing (fiberfill)
