Description

These Coffin Trinket Boxes are sure to add a little bit of macabre to any room you use them in.

The large coffin measures 6" long by 3" wide, and the small coffin is 4" long by 2" wide.

The boxes come unpainted, or you can have them custom painted (as seen above with the "nails" on the larger coffin lid) or a custom color. Message me with what you would like and I can see what I can do!

*****If you want to order more than one candle/magnet/figurine/set please message me.******

Otherwise it will charge you for shipping on each candle/magnet/figurine/set. Etsy calculates the price if you check out. I can fit more than one candle/magnet/figurine/set in the box, so there is no sense in you paying the price for shipping on every item. If you do order without contacting me, I will refund overages in shipping.

If you are an international order, Alaska, Hawaii, or a US Territory extra shipping costs will apply.

FAQs

The candles are not real wax. They are made out of thermoplastic, and hand painted.

As for the colors? For the most part, yes. Cameras do not capture colors exactly how they are in real life. If there is a major difference I do try to list it in the description. Magenta Magic, for example is much darker than it appears in the pictures, but I can't get a good photo of how dark it is because it just won't work on the cameras that I have.
The batteries are replaceable. All candles take a standard 3v coin battery, other than my large pillar, 2 in one candles. Those take AAA. On the some of the candles, you will need a screwdriver to reach the compartment to replace the battery as well as the on off switch, as they are located up inside the pillar so that the candle can sit flat on the counter. Most sizes you can usually reach with your fingers.
I will very happily do a custom candle for you. Depending on what you want done to it, the price varies (Because of the extra cost of the materials).

I ask that when you contact me you have the exact name of the item(s) you want customized, the color you want it in, and any additional options identified.

Understand that the time I spend with you in email costs me time with my family and time away from orders. If it takes more then 10 emails to figure out your order, I may refuse your order, or charge you for the additional time if I do accept the order. So please, have your info handy, and make sure to read all of the FAQ's and the listings first.
My candles are made for indoor use only.

With this said, they do have an outdoor gloss/matte finish on them, so if you choose to use them outdoors, that is up to you... but I will not be held responsible if there is damage to the candle.

Cleaning: Take a damp rag, wring it out very well, and lightly brush off any foreign matter on the candle. If too much pressure, or chemicals are used, it will cause the paint to discolor/peel/dissolve.

Long Term Storage: As with anything with batteries, remove the batteries before storing this, or with any extended period where the candles will not be used. Wrap in an acid free paper and store in a hard sided container.
Small damage like a scrape, or a nick in the paint, you may be able to fix yourself. Message me, and I will let you know the base color and paint company that I used to make your candle.

Given that I often mix my own color combinations, it will not be a perfect match, but it should be enough to cover up a scratch here or there.

Larger damage, such as a "Drip" gets cut off... you can attempt to glue it back on. Contact me and we can discuss some options as to glue that may work.
The paint/pigments that I use for the glow in the dark parts of the candles usually glows the longest when charged under a UV light (Blacklight). They will glow when exposed to sunlight as well. Extended exposure to regular lightbulbs may produce a faint glow on some colors.

Unlike the craft store glow paint/picment which uses zinc sulfide to glow, I use a product that uses crystals of Strontium Aluminate/Europium, which actually "Charge" and acts as a photoluminescent phosphor that holds a glow for a good deal of time.

Zinc based items may only hold a charge for a few minutes, where a Strontium Aluminate/Europium can hold a charge for an hour or more when fully charged, depending on the color and light source.
The colors that glow the brightest in the dark are as follows:
Aqua, White, Green, Yellow, Sky Blue

The colors that need a lot of charge time or a blacklight:
Blue, Purple, Deep Orange, Dark Blue, Pink

All colors do best when charged in full sunlight and/or with a blacklight. The bright colors tend to glow with extended exposure to a bright light bulb.

Time of glow:

Depending on charge, the bright colors tend to glow well over an hour, and will light up the room around them. The other colors will glow brightly for about 15 - 30 minutes and then fade to a dull glow.
