Description

Color your hair naturally with 100% herbal blends by t.w.i.n.k. beauty! Women all over the world use the properties of herbs, rather than chemicals, to condition and dye their hair beautiful shades and/or cover grays. 4oz bag of the color noted in the item title.

The amount of herbal mud you need depends greatly on the length and thickness of your hair, but *usually* one bag will color a full head of average-thickness hair up to bra-strap length. Root touch-ups require much less.

Our color options include:
*blonde/neutral – dyes a very pale honey color on white hair, no coloring effect on darker hair but *will* condition beautifully.
*strawberry blonde – for light reddish blonde.
*copper – definite coppery redhead, on the lighter side.
*auburn – solid shade of red, from dark coppery red (on blonde hair) to deeper mahogany (on darker hair).
*walnut – light to medium brown shade, depending on starting color.

Instructions:
*Prepare the mud – Mix herbal powder with enough plain water to create a yogurt-like consistency. No waiting time is required after mixing (see package for details).
*Apply - For easiest application, wet hair. Starting from the roots, smear with hands, use a dye brush, or bottle-apply mud to your hair one small section at a time – we like to start at the base of the neck and move upwards. Don’t be stingy--more is better! Cover hair with shower cap and leave on for 2-8 hours depending on the depth of color and conditioning desired (less time = less color). Rinse well with water; applying conditioner will aid the rinsing process, as the mud can be tough to wash out. Color will fully develop within 24-72 hours. Note: our swatches show the color achieved on white hair after a two-hour application.

!Important!
- HERBAL COLORS ARE PERMANENT. They will coat the individual hairs and will not typically fade or wash out; hair must be grown out to get rid of it. You can bleach them out with some success, but everyone gets different results.
- The only way to know how your color is going to look on your hair is to STRAND TEST. This involves taking old shed hair from your hairbrush, or cutting a piece from underneath your neck, and dyeing it to see what it will look like before you apply color to your entire head. Please use common sense, and if you are making a dramatic change, strand test first!
- Herbal hair color takes 24-72 hours to fully “settle” into the final color, so do not be alarmed with what you see immediately after rinsing. Hair WILL calm down within a day or so into richer, fuller color as shown on the swatches. Remember this when strand testing, and give it time to settle before you go ahead with your hair dyeing experience!
- t.w.i.n.k. beauty herbal color muds cannot lighten your hair. Absolutely cannot, will not lighten your hair! They are deposit-only color with no bleaching agents or peroxide, so the only thing you can do with them is alter your shade or darken it.
- Dyeing your hair with herbal mixtures is a VERY MESSY PROCESS. We provide gloves, herbs, and a shower cap for infusing, but you will need to be prepared for drips, splatters, and mud crumbs which (depending on the color used) may or may not dye clothing, flooring, etc.
- Very few people are allergic to the herbs used in our mixes, but to be safe you may want to do a “patch test” on your skin. Place a little bit of prepared herbal mixture on your inner elbow and let it sit for 1 hour, then rinse and wait 24 hours. If your skin does not react (itchy, red, hives, etc) then you should be fine to use the herbs on your head. Please note you SHOULD get stained skin (except with blonde/neutral), but this is not a bad thing, as it shows the color worked!
- Lastly, we have to remind you that we are not responsible for unwanted color results. The herbs are guaranteed to produce the colors shown on white hair only, as that is what *we* have tested it on. Everyone’s hair is different and takes color differently, so please STRAND TEST FIRST!!

Q. Why don’t we have a dark brown/black shade?
A. Because of the way herbs work on hair, it is not easy or reliable to produce a very dark brown or black color using only one application—it takes at least two different herbs, applied separately to get a nice, dark brown or black. We are happy to create custom listings if you want to buy the herbal mixes for these colors separately, but we strongly recommend that you learn how to do it before you attempt to dye these colors using herbs. It IS possible and the results are lovely, but it can be tricky for first-timers and is ABSOLUTELY PERMANENT. We’re happy to help but cannot take responsibility for the results!

Absolutely adore this mascara! I use it on my brows too. It darkens and defines my eyelashes which make it a very nice natural look. Will be buying again.
