This was a pattern I was very excited to try out. Unfortunately, due to the lack of progress photos that were placed throughout the pattern as well as having difficulties understanding certain strategies used, I was unable to follow. It was unclear whether or not the petals were to begin from the inside of the original piece created or started from the wrong side. I ultimately had to look at the only photograph of the finished piece and attempt to eyeball the placement and stitches. The other photo only showed the main base. I think if you are familiar with this seller's terminology in their patterns, you may have better luck than I did. This is not to bash them, I personally just struggled a lot with this pattern. I do think that using watercolor pens to create the blushing on the succulent is an incredible idea.
