We offer our pins in four kinds of wood:
Black Walnut - holds more flour, which means less sticking and stopping to re-apply
Cherry - a tight grained wood, is resistant to warping and maintain, and will darken with use to a rich, deep reddish brown
Maple - a tight grained wood, is resistant abrasion, durable and heavy

The pins are a full 24” long* and come in 2”, 2.5", 2.75" and 3" in diameters. They are long and balanced. Experts agree that rolling pins without handles are easier to maneuver and control pressure when working with delicate doughs
