I bought the bag with a strap attached. I live in Canada and received it no problem. The bag as seen in the picture is handmade (only disclaimer is that the white colour is more of a cream white colour). And the strap feels velvety (it sheds a bit) but not a problem for me since I wanted something unique to gift one of my relatives for Christmas.
