Description

Based off my first painting of my muse Arbuckle, this mug features everyone's favorite fuzzy model in his skinny jeans and sensible booties. One side of the mug has the Arbuckle illustration in full color with the words "They fit!" and the other side has text that reads "All About Arbuckle" with a heart in the middle.

Some back story on Arbuckle the Unicorn: he was a severely overweight stray who was found abandoned in a field near Bakersfield, CA. He was suffering from hypothyroidism and was very close to shutting down when he was rescued by A Purposeful Rescue. You can see more of his dramatic rescue story and the wonderful people who have helped him on his journey by visiting his Instagram page @allaboutarbuckle. I started drawing him because this chunky fellow inspires me on a regular basis more than any personal trainer ever could, and there is something about his slow and steady march toward all the joy that life has to offer that makes my heart swell up.

I also think that a group of Arbuckles should be called a "Thunder of Arbuckles."

I also have many Arbuckle prints available -- follow this link to the "skinny jeans" print! https://www.etsy.com/listing/609226433/arbuckle-skinny-jeans-art-cattle-dog-red?ref=shop_home_active_5

I donate 20% of the proceeds from every Arbuckle sale to his rescue organization.

The painting was done in watercolor and pen and ink.

Shipping policies

I ship artwork in cello sleeves, bracketed by chipboard, and in sturdy, stayflat packaging. I usually ship within 48 hours but sometimes it may take up to four business days depending on circumstances. Due to the volume of custom work I do, the typical turnaround for a commissioned piece is 2-3 weeks.

I will gladly ship gifts with personalized notes or doodles or thank-you cards. Just let me know!

I ship USPS First Class or Priority.

Additional policies

I love custom orders and commissions so drop me a line if you have something in mind! I once painted a squirrel with his own removable tighty-whitie underpants so believe me when I say that no request is too weird.
