Returns and exchange details
Titanium rings are cut from a solid bar of titanium (they are not cast like traditional metal rings), for this reason, your ring cannot be re-sized in the traditional way by a jeweler.

Our rings are made to order specifically for you so we do not offer any kind of return for refund or credit option in our shop. If the option for a return for refund/credit is important for you, please consider your purchase carefully, as we will not accept requests for exceptions to this rule after the fact. Please do not put us in the uncomfortable position of asking.

We do have a one time sizing exchange option (fee involved) that is available for 14 days after you receive your ring(s). Details of the sizing exchange policy are noted below.

SIZING:
One of the drawbacks to online sales is that we cannot size you personally using our sizing tools.
There can be slight sizing discrepancies from jeweler to jeweler as no ring mandrel or sizing tool is going to be 100% uniform from one jeweler to another.

Our sizing is set to industry standard based on the requirements of the retail jeweler accounts (wholesale) that we have worked with for years.
We check sizing on a mandrel and with digital calipers based on the center of the band (where the comfort fit arc peaks and rests against the finger) not the bottom edge of the ring.
We can only guarantee to make the size you request based on OUR sizing tools here. We have become extremely cautious over the years about double and triple checking sizing using our mandrels and digital calipers before shipping out any ring we make and do take/keep a photo of the ring on the mandrel for verification that sizing was correct.
Essentially, we cannot guarantee the size you request will be a perfect fit for you or that the style you choose will be a perfect look for you.

We strongly discourage the use of online printable ring sizers, sizing charts, computer screen sizing systems, string or tape measures to determine ring sizes.
We find that the safest option is to you have your size checked at a reputable jeweler local to you or to use a quality ring sizer kit.
Again, regardless of where, how, or even how many times you are sized, because we cannot size you personally, we cannot 100% guarantee the fit of the size you request.

SIZING EXCHANGE POLICY:
*available only for 14 days after receipt of ring
*ring must be in new, unworn condition upon return for exchange
*one exchange per ring purchased only
*exchange must be for ring style of equal value to original purchase (ie: you cannot exchange a gold inlay style ring for a less expensive style and get a credit or refund of the difference and you cannot exchange a titanium only ring for a gold inlay style at just the exchange fee cost)
*exchange fee involved as a new ring will be made when exchange is requested (Exchange fees detailed below)
*clearance priced rings are not eligible for exchange
*Personalized engraving voids the exchange policy.

EXCHANGE POLICY PROCEDURE:
Email or convo to let us know you are requesting an exchange. We will reply with all detailed return shipping/payment information then.
Return the ring(s) to be exchanged with the exchange fee via MONEY ORDER ONLY (payable to Daniel or Amy Walker).
Once we get the first ring back and the fee is paid, we will make/ship a new ring in the new size requested.
There is no refund of any part of your initial purchase as part of the exchange process.
Please return ring to be exchanged in appropriate packaging (ie: PLEASE no regular flat letter envelopes that have no padding or security - odds are the ring won't make it back to us when shipped that way and the exchange will become void).

**EXCHANGE FEE INFORMATION:
*35% of the total (including shipping) purchase price on all titanium or titanium with silver inlay rings for US customers.
*35% of the original purchase price on all titanium or titanium with silver inlay rings + $10 return shipping cost for international customers.
*50% of the total (including shipping) original purchase price on all titanium rings with gold (yellow, rose or white gold) for US customers.
*50% of the original purchase price on all titanium rings with gold (yellow, rose or white gold) + $25 return shipping cost for international customers.

We obviously do re-sell the exchanged rings for a reduced clearance price here in our shop.
We offer an exchange policy as a courtesy to our customers at a very reasonable rate rather than using an all sales final approach given the rings are made to order. Re-selling the exchanged ring helps us re-coup some cost of a cutting a new ring on exchange at the exchange fee rate.
Please be considerate in understanding that we are running a business and there is time and expense involved in all we do.

Our rings ship in just a drawstring organza ring bag in a bubble lined manilla mailer.

RING FINISHES: (NOTE: A photo of all finishes side by side is located on our About Us page)
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
The good news: titanium is a strong metal.
It should not bend or thin over time like traditional metal rings, it is tough. It will not tarnish or turn your finger colors.
The bad news: the finish is NOT scratch-proof.
Often buyers think that because titanium is a strong metal that the finish is also resistant to scratching. This is just not the case.
Your ring will get scratching readily and in some cases prominently with just normal daily wear. Eventually, over time all finishes can smooth to a natural matte titanium patina.
We do not feel the scratching to titanium is any different than you would get with any other type of ring. We just want to dispel the common misconception that because titanium is a strong metal, that means scratch proof finish.
We know that titanium is not for everyone, so please be sure to make an informed decision prior to purchase.

SATIN: a very light textured finish with somewhat of a smooth satin sheen to the finished look

BRUSHED: brushed finish is just very slightly more textured than the satin finish

STONE: textured finish that has a rough look to it, but is not rough to the touch

FROSTED: a unique, luminescent textured finish that gives the titanium a slightly more shimmery appearance and a bit of sparkle or bling (one of the better finishes at holding up to daily wear).
IMPORTANT NOTE: The frosted finish is still gray, it is not a 'white' finish and the luminescent sparkle is most prominent in the direct light/sunlight, on the flat profile bands and wider rings. Please be reasonable in your expectations or ask any questions prior to purchase.

POLISHED: smooth - mirror like. The polished finish is easiest to touch up at home using a mag wheel polish (available at automotive stores) and any buffing cloth from time to time

SANDBLASTED: just as the name implies, a blast of sand is applied to the ring giving it a slightly darker or muddier gray with a unique texture and look. Sandblasted finish is not a heavy or gritty texture (in other words it doesn't feel like sandpaper), it is not black nor overly 'dark gray'.
Sandblasting is prone to surface scratching that can show almost immediately with daily wear. The surface scratching does not wear off the sandblasting (unless you are really rough with the ring, ie: rock climbing or heavy labor occupations), more smooths it to an industrial like gray look (difficult to explain). We can send photos of worn sandblasted rings if you have questions.

BURNISHED: Gives the ring a slightly bumpy textured look with a bit of a sheen. DURABLE finish that holds up the absolute best of any of our finishes to daily wear, seriously, this finish is tough. Burnished finish is available on limited styles. We are not able to offer the burnished finish on any of our inlay ring styles - the burnishing process is a bit too rough on the softer inlay metals.

RAW: Currently the raw finish is only available on one style - our ground profile ring (ax118). Raw means that the only finish given the ring is a sanding/smoothing of the edges for comfort and an inside polished finish.

GOLD/SILVER/COPPER INLAY RING STYLES: We are not able to offer the full polished or burnished finish on any of our inlay ring styles.
We find that the inlay metal for our gold inlay rings can vary a bit in color and intensity from batch to batch. White gold will still have a yellowish hue to it. Rose gold more of a copper hue. Inlays are solid gold, copper or sterling silver, not plated.
If you have any questions about inlays, please ask before you purchase.

IMPORTANT! The silver, gold and copper inlay metals on your ring are going to be softer and more susceptible to wear than the stronger titanium. Please keep this in mind and avoid, when possible, wearing your inlay ring while doing heavy work or activities.

Sterling silver inlay rings: The silver inlay in your ring can tarnish. Keep it wrapped in the anti-tarnish tissue paper squares and airtight baggie if the ring is going to sit unworn for an extended period of time.
Please do not wear your silver inlay ring when swimming in a chlorinated pool or when using bleach products as the chlorine will damage the silver inlay and turn it dark.

Copper inlay rings: Copper can interact with your skin and leave a green mark, it will really just vary from person to person. Copper does oxidize (darken) or patina to a green hue, sometimes within a short time. We have found that when the copper inlay does oxidize/darken, it just takes a good soak in very hot water or in lemon juice to bring it back to full shine. Similar to sterling silver, we do not recommend wearing your copper inlay ring in a chlorinated pool or when using bleach products. We recommend keeping your copper inlay ring stored in an airtight baggie when it will be unworn for an extended period of time.

Please note that lighting and your computer screen can cause variations in the look of the finishes in the photos. Titanium is one standard gray color and all finishes remain the same from style to style (ie: there is no 'darker or lighter' sandblasted finish and we do not have lighter or darker titanium bar that we use).
We can send a photo of all ring finishes side by side if you would like, just let us know.

Titanium is GRAY.
Titanium is not a color match to silver, white gold, or platinum nor is titanium a truly gun metal gray.

All of our rings are cut at an APPROX. thickness of 2mm. That thickness will vary up or down a bit based on the style/cut of the ring and the width chosen. We are not able to list the exact thickness of every style ring, so we list 2mm thickness as an approximation so you understand that your ring will not be a thin ring that lays flat against your finger.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PHOTOS:
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Regarding our photos, please note that we take our own photos and do the best we can with lighting and setup.

There can be variations due to lighting and color/look can vary from monitor to monitor. Please be aware that our photos are taken at close range with a macro focus in natural sunlight here in our home or outside so that you can best see the details of the cut of the ring.
We do not alter the actual look of the ring for the pictures in any way. We do not use a white box. We do not photoshop or use photo software to alter our pictures. They are listed as they are taken.
PLEASE be reasonable in your expectations and please ask any questions you may have prior to purchase.

Keep in mind that the ring pictured on the listing is a stock photo. It is pictured in a size that is likely not going to be the same size as the ring you order and sizing up and down does affect the overall look of the ring. Also, the ring will look different if you order your ring made in a width other than the one pictured.

I EXPECTED A HEAVY RING, WHY IS THIS SO LIGHTWEIGHT?
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
That is one of the benefits of titanium for jewelry. It is a durable metal, but it is comfortable and lightweight to wear.
Do not expect to receive a heavy ring.

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST:
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

We would never intentionally send the wrong ring/ring size or a ring that was flawed in anyway.
We always strive for the best quality, customer service and care.
With that said, we are human, we do have a family and things are busy, busy, busy here most days. We can and do make mistakes from time to time.
If you are not satisfied, PLEASE contact us and we will work with you to make sure you are happy.
We would not and do not ignore our customers.
Please, give us the courtesy of contacting us with any concerns first. Negative or derogatory feedback meant to get our attention or lash out...well it is just not nice, that is all we will say.

Seller (Danny and Amy Walker) maintains that it is the responsibility/liability of the purchaser to have researched titanium properties prior to purchase.
Seller also maintains that the buyer accepts all responsibility/liability when choosing to wear jewelry purchased from us. Seller advises purchaser to use discretion and wear rings safely (ie: not when operating heavy machinery, applicable work situations, heavy outdoor activies, etc). Purchasing with us indicates your understanding of and willingness to accept aforementioned responsibility/liability.
