INTERMEDIATE level chainmaille project - Hepatica Weave by Rebeca Mojica

Combine rubber and shiny silicone rings to create colorful "Hepatica Americana" flowers. Join individual flowers together for a cute and cheerful bracelet.


PREREQUISITES: Experience with jump rings required. Experience with rubber rings helpful, but not necessary.

KITS INCLUDE: approximately 200 aluminum jump rings, 65 silicone rubber rings and a toggle clasp -- enough materials to complete a bracelet approximately 9". The silicone rings are shiny and stretchy. They remain soft and supple for years (compared to EPDM rings, which can dry out and become stiff and cracked rather quickly.) Two colors of "small rings" are included in the kit; there are sufficient rings in each color for you to use either color as "color #1" or "color #2" in the instructions.

Kits DO NOT include instructions. The instructions are sold separately because some people prefer to purchase multiple kits (while others don't want the kit and just want instructions).

PROJECT VARIATIONS:
Finger Ring: If you have a small wrist, you'll have enough rings to make extra flowers. You can easily turn those flowers into finger rings--instructions for doing so can be found in the Hepatica Tutorial. Kits do NOT include stainless steel rings to create the finger ring band.
