Made with recycled paper beads from a vintage music lesson book, these lightweight earrings will make you stand out. Sheet music for your ears! They are topped with jet black glass beads & end in handmade swirls. The black notations on cream paper make eco-friendly gifts for music lovers & music teachers, & paper is a traditional gift for a first wedding anniversary.

Each bead is unique; I have tried to show variations in the different photos. The set of beads I am currently using is slightly darker & more glossy looking than the photos. Please note some will have a few lyrics included, as well as the musical notation.

NOTE: the paper beads have not been treated to withstand heavy moisture, so please don't get them wet. You weren't supposed to be doing your musical scales at the beach in those days

The entire earring dangles less than 4 cm (1 1/2 inches) from the bottom of the surgical steel ear hook; the swirls are made with tarnish-resistant silver craft wire, so you won't need to polish these as much as sterling or silver plate. Surgical steel is also good for people with metal allergies.

You can also buy these earrings in a sterling silver version - select that option when you check out.
