Size: 42" wide by 36" long

Techniques: low water immersion and hand painting

I wanted this yard to radiate heat, so I painted rivers of orange, fuchsia, red and dark gold next to each other and allowed them to merge and create wonderful patterns and secondary hues. I added a section of black at one end, to balance the warm hues and ground the colors to a base.

What could you use this yard for? Personally, I'd stretch it over canvas and hang it on a wall that needs a jolt of color and life. But, it would be wonderful as part of a quilt, home decor project or a garment. Imagine these hues and patterns as throw pillows, brightening up a dark sofa or chair.

I have washed this fabric thoroughly and tested it for colorfastness in 140 degree water.

Please convo me with any questions.
