Individually crafted by Jackson Wright in Cincinnati, this modern wood sculpture is an 'original multiple', where the design is reproduced by the artist, but each piece has unique nuances due to the variations in grain, character, and hue of the natural woods. The body and base are built from hand-selected hard woods, including walnut, ash, cherry, poplar, and of course a steel pole. The wood slats are steam bent to shape, and the sculpture is sealed with two coats of semi-gloss lacquer finish.
The natural wood flexes enough for some subtle kinetic movement, and the artistic polished finish is both attractive and easy to clean. It arrives fully-assembled and ready to place. This is plastic with a wood like and metal like “sticker” representing the metal and wood. Would never have spent this much on plastic. The price makes it sound like its real!! Very misleading.

Great communication with seller. To limit the possibility of a return (along with a restocking fee), seller encouraged me to post pictures of where I was thinking of placing the piece to make sure it was a good fit.
