Hermann Oak Old World Harness leather belt made from 13oz harness leather with a solid brass buckle. Each belt is made with the following materials:

Material: Hermann Oak Old World Harness
Color: Russet
Width: 38mm (1.5")
Thickness: 13oz

SOME EXTENDED SIZES AVAILABLE!

This is one of those belts that gets better as it ages. The harness leather is hot stuffed with waxes and tallow at the tannery. As you wear this belt your body will naturally heat up the waxes up and your body movements will slowly distribute the waxes and tallow throughout the leather. What this means for you is as you wear this belt, and as your body heats up the leather, and as your movements bend and twist the leather, it will begin to change. As this leather ages it will begin to darken and create a deep tan/crimson patina. Add in a couple years of dirt and grundge and it all adds up to a unique belt you cant get in any box store.

The Shipyard Belt is an excellent work belt. Gouges and grooves from things like clip on radios and clip on knives are a natural side effect of a hard days work. With the Shipyard belt, all those waxes and tallows will slowly fill in much of those grooves and gouges over time. Got a big scratch from that fence post? No big deal. This belt is very forgiving. Just apply some pressure with your thing and watch as the scratch slowly fades.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES ON BELTS
______________________________

Due to the custom nature of our belts, there are no returns or exchanges accepted. That being said, we stand behind the craftsmanship and materials we work with. Carmine Jack Leather Co offers a Craftsmanship Guarantee. In the event of an issue arising due to the craftsmanship of this belt, please contact us immediately. You may be asked to provide photos in the event of craftsmanship issue. Full grain leather comes from an animal that was once living, breathing, and walking this earth. During its time on our fair planet it interacted with its environment. It may have gained some weight through its life, tackled a pile of barbed wire, was on the losing end of a pair of long horns, and a multitude of other situations that may lead to scars, scratches, bite marks, scrapes, and fat wrinkles appearing on the leather. Carmine Jack Leather Company views these variations in the leathers as badges of honor and celebrates the uniqueness that this provides every belt we produce. We do not view these as negative marks against the materials being used and do not consider them to be grounds for a Craftsmanship Guarantee return. Such imperfections will not affect the strength and durability of the leather.
