Description

This original concrete bowl has a woodland, terrestrial, and geological look. I love the textures and shapes in nature and this has the look of ancient rough carved stone, like flint arrows era... It has a dark metallic bronze base finish and the pictures do not show the shadings as beautifully as they really are. It also has the look of stone or even old wood covered in lichens. Lichens are a favorite theme of mine and coraline algaes in the sea. They are very similar. Mother Nature does a much better job of course, but if its true that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then she knows how much I appreciate her! ( -: }

This piece is drilled with a drainage hole and would look great planted with succulents bromeliads or an orchid for instance. If a cork were cut and fit in the drain hole sand and a collection of shells with a candle or two would be great, or maybe a floral arrangement...
In one of the pictures its shown with a nearly dozen eggs to show size scale, but fruit would look great in it to.

My finishes are incredibly durable and have proven they can take the weather over time. This is a beautiful sculptural art bowl with many possibilities. It measures 13 inches wide and 7 inches tall.
