Handmade

Materials

pewter, brass, nickel silver posts, with gold plated clutch backs

It's interactive - you can make the propeller spin!

SteamPunk Airship Commanders Insignia is a military style double tac pin. It goes great on Sci-Fi and SteamPunk Military style outfits. You can wear it in the traditional spot, above the breast pocket, or on your hat, bag, jacket ... anywhere that a larger pin will fit.

A great gift for SteamPunk & Sci-Fi fans - comes in a gift box (as shown).

This pin is about 1 3/4 inch (4.5 cm) long and comes with two clutch backs. This listing is for one pin.

I make three variations of this design. This one features the contrasting natural colors of pewter & brass. Nice.

The all brass variation is a little less expensive. It is here: www.etsy.com/listing/130625752/steampunk-airship-commanders-insignia

In addition to this insignia, the model is wearing my Hemisphere tac pin. You can see it at: www.etsy.com/listing/36359579/hemisphere-steampunk-tie-tac-tac-pin

Built to last, to time travel with you through a lifetime.

When I first made this design I thought of it as an official insignia of “The Airship Service”, to be worn by those officers who had reached the lofty rank of Commander. Feel free to assign your own significance to yours.

“Great Stuff! I bought 3 pieces from Smith Steam Works and am 100% satisfied with all of them. Steampunk is such a cool genre it’s nice to see someone do more with it than simply stick old watch parts together. These are unique designs brought to life with craftsmanship and a real attention to detail. Worth every penny! Plus service was quick and friendly. I highly recommend this artist to anyone who is interested and sees the potential in the steam. Many thanks!”
