A vintage pair of sweet sparrows in different poses.

Whether in the kitchen, breakfast nook, the diningroom table, the windowsill or on a display shelf these delightful little birds rest in true-to-life poses.

Made of porcelain, painted under glaze, they have no identifying marks but have the look of Goebel, to me.
The paint is beautiful in converging shades of toast brown and dove grey. Really pretty, subtle, high quality craftsmanship there.
My photos cannot capture how nice they are.

The larger bird is 2" tall X 2 1/2" long X 1 1/2" wide at chest. He has one hole in his head for the pepper.
The smaller has 2, for salt.
Both have clean, original plastic plugs in their bases. I don't think anyone ever used them at the table.

Condition: Excellent, except for a miniscule fleabite on the underside of the larger bird's tail and a patch of no glaze there, not visible when bird is upright.

A neat, compact pair of lovebirds with beautiful painting and wonderful attitude.
