This is for 1-piece of Lapis Lazuli, each one is unique and from Afghanistan. You can wrap it, drill it, bead around it, use it in your art and much much more.

Lapis Lazuli- means mixture, and lapis lazuli is a mixture of lazurite, calcite and pyrite. The chemical structure is fairly complex containing sodium, calcium, aluminum, silicon, oxygen, sulfur, chlorine and hydrogen. It is commonly included with white calcite or golden pyrite. It fluoresces green under ultraviolet light. The prime locations for lapis mining are Afghanistan and Chile. Mining conditions in Afghanistan are as primitive today as they were 2,000 years ago, where men dig high on a mountain side and carry out the material in backpacks. It is more than a week's walk past the closet town to the mining site. Lapis is a popular stone for jewelry; however, it is excellent for environmental and feng shui applications. It projects a masculine vibration which is strong and protective. For people who require or who desire a more feminine vibration, please refer to sodalite, a lazurite relative. Lapis was used extensively in ancient Egypt. It was used as a symbol of the night sky, bridging the cosmos and earth in cultures from the Middle East to South America.
