The towel is a thick, durable cotton. a bit stiff but it will soften in time. I liked that the material is thicker than most. It is stylish with the various colored script (as pictured; notice letters are artfully distressed looking) and looks cute in my kitchen. If you're giving it as a gift, shipping takes longer because the seller is from England so just be aware and order in advance accordingly.

The set of 4 botanical prints I ordered arrived today. They are beautiful! The artist took such care with the art, its packing and shipping and personalized the pieces at my request with her signature. I couldn't be more pleased!
