Love it! I had bought Queen Alice Tarot and loved it so much I came back 5 days later to purchase the Mermaid Tarot, Gold Edition. It’s just as amazing as my first purchase. The Mermaid Tarot is gorgeous, funky and fun while each card is full of meaning w/lots of little things to find in the artwork. Super fast delivery, arrived in perfect condition and is exactly as pictured. Love the box and gold edging. I guess I need to round it all out and get the Witchy Cat Tarot soon lol.

I have wanted this deck for literally years. I’ve been curious and liked when I saw it shown on various platforms. I wanted a more ocean or water energy deck for my library, and mermaids would be even better. However I haven’t found anything to date that I really like or is me. I am beyond thrilled to finally have this deck!! It’s so beautiful and cool. I love the colors and the vibes so much. It really hits that spot for me. I like that it’s very emotive and has such a personality to it. I love Dame Darcy’s artwork anyway, but there’s def something special to this. I like this version with the kind of antique yet vibrant feel. It feels kinda like it washed up in a bottle on shore to me personally. Love it so much and am so happy to have it! Shipped fast and the card stock is very nice

First of all, the extra $20 is worth it for the gilded edges & magnetic closure box versus the tuck box version that doesn’t come edged. But the art deserves 2-3/5 stars. Some of the art is crisp and colorful. But then most of the rest is muddied and blurred and not as bright. I’m sure this is due to the fact that Dame Darcy ripped off artwork from Lo Scarabeo’s Tarot of Mermaids and had to redraw several of the cards from her original mermaid tarot deck. It seems the newer revised cards are the ones that are bright and clear. It’s as if the others have been photocopied so frequently they’re blurred and blah. Good cardstock though. So if you want a good deck with inconsistent artwork, look no further. (I supported Dame Darcy despite the ripoff because I love mermaids and overall love the boardwalk beach vibe.)
