Description

Instructional DVD --- How to Make a Hem Topped Sock on a Circular Sockknitting Machine --- self-produced and self-distributed

Hello folks... antique circular sockknitting machines are making a real big comeback and many folks are looking for an instructional DVD to learn to use one!

Soooo I made my own DVD!

I am offering for sale my --How To Knit a Hemmed Top Sock on a Circular Sock Machine-- video, available in both DVD or VHS format.

This DVD will show you how to make a hem topped, mock ribbed sock, from start to finish!

Starting with set-up techniques of using a mesh onion sack, learn to thread up your machine in a few seconds flat. Then, see the step-by-step process of making a sock.

There are many close-up visual segments, such as picking up a dropped stitch, and changing colors of yarns for contrasting toes, heels and hems. Chock full of helpful hints as I show you, in my own natural chatty style, the process I use to make my socks. See how heels and toes are formed without dropping a stitch while using three fork weights. Learn to remove the socks one at a time or continue on to the next sock.

Included is a segment of the easiest toe closing method of kitchnering that I have found.

And ---- you HAVE to reach the final segment, to view the Quality Control Testing Process, it is something you have to see with your own two eyes!

The dvd instructions are very detailed and I know that I can knit a pair of socks with ease after viewing this dvd. I am able to use some of the techniques on my flat knitting machine also. i actually don't have a sock machine, but hope to find one soon.
