This wonderfully vintage tube radio is Zenith's Model S-14549 from the 1940s or 1950s. It has a brown bakelite case and a great Art Deco dial. It has a 1/4 inch output jack in back (for speakers or headphones--I'm not sure). This would be a great for display or as an addition to your midcentury collection--and best of all, it works.

The radio is in good condition for its age. The knobs are all present, but the case has one crack along the side and a small crack and nick on top. It also seems to be missing a logo or something on the right front (middle of the holes). The plug needs replacing, but the cord is in good condition, and the radio also has a wire antenna.

The radio sounded really pretty good on some of the AM stations--very little hum and a nice sound quality. On FM, there was a more audible hum, and toward the upper end of the dial it became a loud buzz. I didn't test this thoroughly because of the shape of the plug (and no guarantees are made about its working condition).

Size: 1 foot wide x 7 inches tall x 6 5/8 inches deep

Note: This radio is heavy and large for international shipping, but please contact me if you want a specific shipping estimate for your country.
