Digital Gift Tag Kit Collage Sheet contains:

*2 .jpg files containing an 8.5" by 11" image with 10 different tags, approximately 2" x 4" (One has space between each tag and one there's no space for quick cutting

*2 .jpg files, each containing an 8.5" by 11" full sheet patterned paper for printing on backs of tags
*1 .jpg file containing packaging label, 2" by 3"
*1 .jpg file containing an 8.5" by 11" full sheet of 15 packaging labels
*1 .jpg file containing blank packaging label, 2" by 3"
*2 .jpg files, each containing an 8.5" by 11" image with 15 little mini-viewing sheets of what the tags look like, one file for the fronts, one file for the backs. Can be attached to package if you package the tags up so they're not easily viewed

(When you download this item, you will have the option of receiving the tag .jpg files in .png versions. If you wish to receive them in a .pdf format, please e-mail me.)

These make great little quick gifts when done up in a set as pictured. I packaged them in the 3" by 5" clear storage bags you can purchase in any office supply store. You can print the label sheet out on sticker paper; just adhere to the bag. Print the little viewing sheets on matte paper or card stock, tie them to the top so you can quickly view what's contained within without taking the tags out of the bag. I tied this set with heavy-duty cheesecloth torn into thin strips. Vintage lace or seam binding looks great as well, as options to your standard ribbon or string.

I've included two versions of a full sheet you can print on the backs. The colors are muted so if the design covers a large area it can still be written on. If you're lucky enough to have a printer that does borderless, use that to print the back. If not, see the notes in the Readme.txt file that comes with the download.

On some sets I cut off the border edging on the tags and ink the edges. (Depends how quick and easy you want to get!) There are lots of ways you can personalize and make them your own and lots of different ways to package them.

They make great bookmarks or look nice hung on a cabinet or cupboard doorknob. If you're making some sets for gifts, don't forget to make a set or two for yourself. It's always nice to have a little stash of gift tags on hand.

Frequently asked questions about MyDigitalDaydream

All items designed by MyDigitalDaydream and sold in MyDigitalDaydream are copyrighted by MyDigitalDaydream and are for personal use only.
You are purchasing a file, either in a .jpg or a .png or a .pdf format, for printing or utilizing in your photo editing software as desired, for personal use only. Each listing will specify the format provided for that item. Multi-file products will be in a .zip format for easier download. (See .zip FAQ)

If the format you desire is not listed in the description, please ask and usually I can provide those for you.

All files are 300 dpi, (2500 x 3300 pixels for 8.5 x 11's and 3600 x 3600 pixels for 12 x 12's). They can be printed as many times as you desire on the paper type of your choice.
Many of the items are in a .zip format for download. This allows multiple files to be packaged together so they don't have to be downloaded one at a time. Once the .zip file is downloaded and saved to your computer, it must be "unzipped" to access the individual files therein. Most computers today come installed with the software to accommodate this and double-clicking on the zip file will start the "unzip" or extraction process.

If your computer does not have such software, you can download by searching zip/unzip software on the Internet.
When multiple formats are enumerated in the listing, you can choose to download the format you desire. Jpg files will download much faster and if you're just going to print these or they're being used as a full-sized background, that's likely the format you want. .Png files are much larger in size and so take much longer to download, but if you are going to be utilizing these in photo editing software, this is the format you want. In .png files, there is a transparent background around the image, so you can layer it over any background you wish in your photo editing software, most of which will open and work with .png files. The .pdf files are read only and cannot be edited unless the item description specifically states otherwise.
The paper you print on does make a big difference in the quality of your print. A low quality, low brightness copy paper will generally give you a poor print if you're printing colored images.
The best is a double-sided photo-quality matte finish paper of at least 58 lb. weight. It works much better than general scrapbooking cardstock in terms of the color and sharpness of the images. Staples carries a house brand called Double-Sided Matte Photo Supreme that is very good.
However, when you need a lighter weight paper for decoupage, for instance, look for something that is specified as at least 90 brightness or super-bright white, 98 or 100. Presentation paper will generally give you a better quality than photocopy paper.
