Flowers grow where violence once existed.

This design was inspired by the flower children at the Pentagon in 1967, when peaceful protesters were inserting flowers into the barrels of military police rifles pointed at them. We've always thought it was some pretty amazing imagery and a very forceful act of non-violence.

Silk-screened by hand using a silvered orange ink onto an asphalt American Apparel women's scoop neck top. 100% cotton and lusciously soft.
