If you order a set, please let me know the Vibrating Length, ie. the distance between the bridge and nut on your instrument. Viols are made in a variety of lengths and this makes a great difference in string gauges.

Wonderful gamba strings, arrived sooner than expected. The sound blended very well with gut strings. These strings also came ready to play right out of the package, nice quick bow response straight away.

These are the best gamba strings I've ever played! They're strong and loud with a subtle softness in the tone they deliver. Also very resistant to slippage at the nut and tailpiece due to the resin blend they're coated with. Will definitely buy several sets in the near future. You've got yourself a longtime customer!
