This is a painting that I finished for Jerdine Nolen's middle grade novel, ELIZA'S FREEDOM ROAD. There are two versions, one with a pink background and one in turquoise. The paintings were done in watercolor, gouache and pastel and were finished digitally.
The print size is 16 x 12. This image is printed on Epson Archival Velvet Fine Art paper (100% cotton rag) with archival quality inks.
The print is signed, sealed in a clear plastic envelope and shipped in a cardboard stay-flat mailer.

This print is just gorgeous -- it came carefully packaged and signed by the artist. My mother-in-law spent years traveling to all our area elementary schools, teaching classes about the Underground Railroad. She created a huge collage of the quilts that played such an integral role, and she'd bring it to the schools strapped to the roof of her car in a frame my father-in-law made. This will be a birthday gift to her and I know she will absolutely love it! Thank you so much!
