Description

Are you looking for a unique Father's Day gift for Dad or someone about to graduate? This custom pen made from acrylic and would be the ultimate Father's Day or Graduation gift. The smooth acrylic body of this pen reminds me of a good swirl ice cream. This pattern is among my favorites--it just makes me happy looking at it.

The different finishes pens are numerous; this pen has a totally glossy finish. On this one, though, I chose to do let as much distinctive color come through as possible. After turning on the lathe and sanding to 12000, I then apply a wax and friction polish that further smoothes and protects the pen and presents a nice finish to help repel fingerprints.

This pen is intentionally a little bulbous in both parts; it sits very well in your hand and it rolls very well. The gold highlights of the pen make the colors of the acrylic more vivid and deep.

Refills are available. This is a roller-ball tip with a twist cap to open. Length: 5.25" Diameter: 0.5". A beautiful way to present this and provide a safe storage is a gift/storage box, which is also available https://www.etsy.com/your/shops/LeVahnWoodworking/tools/listings/619302527
