Description

I have a video on my Etsy shop page that shows a little about how I make these jigs. These jigs are used to wrap the line guides (some people call the eyes) onto a fishing rod for people who build their own custom fishing rods.

If you subscribe to The Fishing Hobby (my YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqne7f-bMbuFFlnKETAesiA) and go to my YouTube homepage, there is a video that shows the benefits of this jig, how to assemble it (it is really easy, you just need a #2 Phillips screwdriver to install three screws) and how to use it along with a lot of other information. I'd highly recommend watching the full YouTube video if you plan on purchasing one of these jigs.

This is a very well made hand wrapping jig used for building custom fishing rods. The jig is made of HDPE and galvanized steel so it is very durable and will last for many years. I also make the compression springs that are used on the thread spool tensioning system. I spent a lot of time designing and developing this jig and feel very confident that you will enjoy using the guide wrapper.

I build these jigs out of my shop in Greenbrier, Arkansas. I try to use materials that are produced in the USA when possible and I also use/recycle HDPE plastic containers to make the thread tensioning plates and friction washers on the thread carriage. It is a small thing, but I feel like it is important to try to re-purpose materials when possible/feasible. These recycled parts are orange in the photos used for the listing, but they could be other colors if I have containers on hand that are different colors at the time I am building more jigs.

Thanks for looking at my listing and if you have any questions about it, please let me know!
