Please pay promptly for your purchases!

I am happy to discuss lay away plans if you can't manage a lump sum payout - feel free to contact me, I'm happy to reserve items for 28 days.

I always ship within 3 days of receiving cleared payment from buyers.

I mainly use Paypal to recieve funds, but am starting to accept payment in Bitcoins - contact me for details.

Returns & exchanges

I gladly accept returns

Contact me within: 3 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery

I don't accept exchanges or cancellations

But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale

Returns and exchange details

I thoroughly check all my items when I make them and make sure they are accurately photographed and the sizes included in the listing - so please check before you buy that the size is right!

*if* you do need to return an item, please contact me within 3 days of delivery and make sure it's shipped back in time to reach me within 30 days of receipt.

Refunds will be issued upon receipt of return - Etsy refunds usually take 3 -5 working days, but may take up to 30 days depending on your card issuer.

Buyer is responsible for return shipping, I recommend using a trackable method as no refunds will be given on non-recieved returns.

Shipping policies

I will usually post your item within 2 working days of cleared payment, using the most secure method possible so your item reaches you speedy and safe, BUT please bear in mind that if you are outside the UK your parcel may take a couple of weeks or so to reach you...
Packaging will usually be recycled or eco-friendly, it keeps things out of landfill, and helps reduce the impact we're having on the planet!, but rest assured your item will still be packaged in as pretty a way as possible, and secure enough to make it to, well anywhere in the world... in fact I always AIM to make sure my packaging would withstand shipping to the Moon :)

Additional policies

****Upcycled Clothes****

Some of my creations can happily be washed (and sometimes dried) along with your regular laundry but if your item comes with care instructions then please, PLEASE don't disregard them, I want your Solus Clothes item to give you pleasure for years to come!

Many of my items are made from recycled and re-purposed materials therefore there might be the occasional extra bit of character in the garment which will in no way detract from its beauty or durability. I finish all my seams by hand to prevent any un-ravelling but if a thread does come loose, tie it off or snip it carefully and it will be fine =)

****Custom Orders****

I usually work with materials I have on hand in what is at times a frankly ridiculous stash of fabrics, sweaters etc.... BUT that doesn't mean I don't accept Custom orders, but please bear in mind the following:

* I'll require a NON REFUNDABLE deposit
* It will cost a little more then a OOAK ready to ship item
* It may well take me a little time to source materials and make your item
* I will NEED to discuss in detail exactly what YOU want, and tell you exactly what I can do, so that I KNOW the item is as perfect a vision in my head as it is in yours!
* I will keep you informed with regular updates on the progress

* and....

sometimes, I'm going to have to say 'I can't right now' - I'll give you a time frame for when I could potentially start working on things, and an estimated finish date.

****General Info****

Sometimes, it might take me a little whilst to respond to any queries, whilst I lead a fairly simple life without complications, I do have kids - one of them is Autistic and things can be a little 'full on' at times... bear with me though - I'm not flaky and I genuinely appreciate how frustrating it can be when your waiting on an answer and its not as forthcoming as you'd like!

And finally, please be aware I have three cats who are not allowed in my sewing space whilst I'm working, but inevitably you might find the odd stray hair of theirs or for that matter mine!
