Jellyfish have happy bell shaped bodies and delicate trailing tentacles, making their powerful sting danger in disguise.

This jellyfish pendant was painted on a real, salvaged bottle cap - a unique foundation that is sure to draw comments. Teal blue water surrounds a lone jellyfish, glowing like fire, a double skirt of red and orange tentacles propelling it onwards. The painted surface has been triple sealed in satin finish polyurethane for durability.

The bottle cap is suspended from a hand twisted sterling silver bail, and adorned by a faceted brown and antique blue bead. Because the bail is connected by a two-point attachment, the pendant never swivels backside out.

For your protection, this pendant is backed by a slice of wine cork to prevent the pointed edges from touching your skin. This listing includes an 18 inch stainless steel cord necklace that closes with a screw clasp.

Thanks for looking!

Love this design but want to see it adorned? This jellyfish has also been hand picked for a collaborative project with Christine's Beadworks. Christine has added a beaded bezel to frame the painting, finishing off the piece with a spiral beaded chain.
