Description

Hand made ceramic bedside water pitcher and cup. The back of the pitcher has the word "pour" lightly stamped into the clay and the cup says "drink.

Made from red clay and glazed with white inside, so you can see your beverage easily. The pitcher has small dots pressed into the clay where your fingers hold onto it easily - it also has a base handle to help steady your hand when you pour. The base handle is modeled after early Americana colonial pitchers that were used in pubs.
White glaze over the red clay has a natural aged look to the set where the brown clay peeks through. Cup fits into the pitcher when not in use to give just a small footprint on your bedside table.

"pour"Pitcher holds 17oz full and the "drink" cup holds a little over 5oz (2/3 cup).

Perfect for a guest room or a child that likes water by their bed. Stoneware is strong, this is high fired clay (cone 10). Bottom has my "Very Valerie" stamped into the center of the base. Hand thrown on the wheel. Ready to ship. Listing is for one creamer and one sugar bowl. The words give it a feel like Rae Dunn pottery.

--------------------------------
The clay is fired twice to a high temperature (2192f - cone 10) which enhances its strength.
Stoneware is microwave, oven and dishwasher safe. Eco friendly.

As always in my shop: if you order multiple listings, the shipping will combine for you. Also, if you live in the Atlanta (Roswell) area - feel free to contact me ahead of your order and you can pick up your items to save on shipping. Please read the descriptions of each listing & be sure to send me any questions prior to ordering. All sizes listed are approximate due to the handmade nature of the work. I include photos with a ruler. Feel free to message me anytime with questions on sizes.
Pottery does occasionally break when being shipped, but thankfully it is quite rare. All of my pottery is packed well in paper and a strong box, so the shipper needs to make it right if they damage your item. File a claim with USPS quickly with photos of the damage and the packaging. Notification needs to be made within a day or two.
If you receive a shipping notification, but your order does not arrive in the mail, please contact the post office. We make sure to have tracking sent to you on all orders. They will be able to assist you in the process of filing a claim. Please note that we are not responsible for items that are lost or delayed in the mail. Please contact USPS with your tracking number and let them take responsibility and make you whole from their error.
Orders that are shipped via USPS Priority shipping, which will arrive in 2-3 business days. This method includes up to $100 insurance and a tracking number.
I have begun offering Parcel Select Ground as an option, but please note that if you choose this option it will not include insurance. I can not be held responsible for damage from the post office since I package items well – please see USPS about any damage they cause. We do upgrade to Priority occasionally.
All the pottery listed for the use of food/drink is food, dishwasher, oven (to 400°) and microwave safe. Hand-washing is recommended as is to gradually heat and cool the pottery with oven use. Any exceptions to this will be clearly labeled in the listing.

Items (such as soap dishes) that do not have food on them may have non-food safe glazes.
