Description

NEW ITEM!

These are glass spiders, cast using an original mold and a unique process!

Each of these jumping spiders is uniquely painted and fired in a kiln, about an inch and a quarter on a side. Amy paints them with enamels and metallics, giving each one it's own personality. The real thing is often a wild chorus of colors, with metallic sheens being common. Both Amy and I like the look of these little guys!

The glass mold was made using one of Amy's original sculptures. The amount of detail, though less than the original sculptures, is really surprising! Then, she paints each one individually, using metallic enamels. There are currently two styles of mold, but due to the method, each spider is one-of-a-kind and unique!

We think these are very special, very cute, and pretty in the way all of the little lions of the spider world are! This Lady has a Black body with brown and white enamel details1 She's very cute!

Thanks for looking at our little guys!
