This piece is a combination of strong motifs, delicate characters, and meaningful text. As Randy translated the characters on the right side for me, it is all about the vanity of human wishes: "笑那浮华落尽: Ha! great splendor falls to ruin 月色如洗 : the silver moon shines down, washing all away" This combination of beauty and thoughtfulness is a common characteristic of all the six pieces I bought.
