Big keepsake jar or treasure box with painted birds and decorated with Italian majolica designs from 18th century and a blue bird handle, handmade in my studio in Fredericksburg, VA. This would be a perfect gift for a bird-lover.

The jar is created on the wheel and the bird handle sculpted and attached, dried and designs are drawn, painted and fired. Clear gloss glaze has been brushed on and fired again to 2300F to give a glossy finish.

All materials used are food-safe, non-toxic and is dishwasher safe and microwave safe.

Size: About 7.5" wide and 7" tall (including the handle).
Capacity: About 60 oz.
