Dimensions

Bracelet length: 6 Inches

A beautiful, ovals shaped gemstone of variscite, from the Athena Mine; set in Sterling silver. The stone setting is bordered with a hand stamped sunburst pattern, made of sturdy 18ga sterling silver. This is a truly one of a kind piece! The bracelet is simple enough for everyday wear, but shiny and sophisticated enough for a formal setting.

The bracelet measures approximately 6" long, plus a 1-1/2" opening. The opening can squeezed gently and minimally to adjust for proper fit.

Variscite is a mineral closely related to turquoise, with its distinct difference being that it doesn't contain copper. While copper gives turquoise its characteristically blue color, variscite receives its green colors from chromium and vanadium, while other metals such as iron and manganese can contribute to its other colors. This variscite formed in ancient seafloor shale in the area that is now known as the Athena Mine in Esmeralda County, Nevada.

This bracelet was hand cut, forged, and polished by me in my workshop. This is a one of a kind piece of handcrafted Athena Variscite and Sterling silver jewelry. Made in the U.S.A.

All jewelry comes packaged in a beautiful gift box tied with a piece of natural twine.
The jewelry you are purchasing is made to last, but like all handmade items, it is delicate. Care is necessary and the responsibility of the wearer. Always remove your jewelry before sleeping, swimming, or bathing. Keep jewelry clean and free of chemicals (this includes oils, lotions, soaps, etc.). Please remove your jewelry before any type of heavy activity such as gardening, or exercising. You may clean your jewelry with gentle soap and water, but never use chemicals or other types of cleaners (this can destroy natural stones and remove patina on the piece). Polishing cloths are great for removing unwanted oxidization (be careful to not rub too hard or you may remove the patina). Patina is a natural process and will always occur on silver
I do not accept returns. Please shop seriously.
