Fleisher's #50 c.1938
New Hand Knitting Styles for Women

47 Pages. Sleek, Elegant and Sophisticated are the words best to describe this volume from Fleisher's. This is another classic edition of women's dresses, suits and even a coat from the WWII era. There are a few patterns with lovely cabling, but most of the patterns are very simple stitch patterns. There was something about those lovely fashions of the 1930's that still intrigues knitters and designers even today. The stylings were always very feminine and sleek, not overdone with unnecessary flashy stitch patterns. This collection is classic 1930's in even sense of the word. Each pattern is unique, and every one of them would look lovely on the modern woman of the 21st century. REPRODUCTION
