The reclusive Zen Spoonmaster carved this stout spoon from beautifully grained oak. The spoon is hefty and feels fine and secure in the hand.

The more you use it, the better it gets. Please don't put it in the dishwasher. The ZSM will know if you do. He won't hold it against you, but he'll feel sorry for the wood.

This lovely spoon glows warmly from the ZSM's own finish of mineral oil and beeswax. It's signed on the back, and is 8-1/2 inches long, the bowl nearly 2 inches across.

The spoon comes in a hand-painted paper bag ready for gifting, and shipping is included in the price.
