Description

Inara, an amigurumi fan art doll inspired by Inara from Firefly and Serenity. In her purple dress :)

I've been wanting to make Inara for a while now, I'm trying to get all of the Serenity crew members listed in the shop. I was honored to be asked again this year to donate a doll or a Can't Stop The Serenity event with all the proceeds going to charity. They said One of the ladies of Firefly would be great.. so I jumped at the chance to make her. I of course love her purple dress, but I'm happy to put her in another outfit for you, just let me know when you order her.

She is about 10 inches tall

Inara is custom made just for you, so this takes time. Usually about a week depending on how many other orders I have at that time. I will do my best to give you an estimate when you place your order. If you need her on time for an occasion, please let me know when you order and I will do everything I can to get her to you on time.

Thanks for looking, and if you have any questions at all just ask.

Returns and exchange details

I have never had an unhappy customer. BUT if you are unhappy get in touch and we will try and work something out :) I might accept a return, but probably not on a custom order, it would have to be determined on a case by case basis. If for any reason a customer is not happy then I would ask them to get in touch and we will figure out a happy solution.

Shipping policies

Hi I always ship USPS priority within the United States. and First Class International overseas. I have never had an item not arrive in perfect condition.

Additional policies

All dolls take from 2 days to a week to make. I start all dolls on a first come first serve basis. But they are all handmade just for you!

A few policies.

The creation process of the doll does not begin until an order has been placed and payment has gone through.

I won't make a doll/animal from another artists pattern.

The yarn will be purchased by me, if you require a special yarn I can shop for it, not all yarns work well for amigurumi and certain hand spun yarns are a nightmare to work with, so it might just not be possible. Please take this into consideration

FAQ

I have not yet at this time ever written a pattern. I really should try, apparently it's where the money is :) But until I do none of my dolls have a pattern available. The doll body is a much altered version of the 'Boy pattern' in the book The Complete Idiots Guide To Amigurumi (which i highly recommend... it's great!) the clothes and accessories for the dolls I make by sight and they are never exactly the same twice.
When I finally do write a pattern I will post an announcement.
