This is a large Teabowl, measuring 4-1/8" high, 4-1/2" across the top, and the foot measures 2-1/2" diameter. Handmade with a very coarse shigaraki type clay, it is in new, perfect condition. The signature blends somewhat into the grooves of the coarse clay, but it is signed with my inscribed studio mark. Very nice, heavily textured and inscribed body with milky white glaze flowing among the grooves. The interior is a nice soft mottled brown/red that flows over the lip onto the upper body. Very interesting to handl and view. . Please watch for a large number of listings of previous work over the next couple of months. I have just moved to a new studio after 38 years in my previous studio, and I am clearing space for new work.

With all my pieces, Please be sure to check the measurements to be sure it is the size you want, as it is sometimes difficult to judge size by the photos. I take close up photos to show all the detail, and to give you as accurate a look as possible, and the various size pieces all fill the photo in a similar way.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I want you to be completely happy with your purchase. All of my work is fully guaranteed, if for any reason you would like to return an item you buy from me, just email me within two weeks of receipt that you would like to return it, and on receipt I will refund the full purchase price including the original shipping charge. I would much rather take the work back than have you keep a piece you are not completely happy with.
