Facts about vintage clothes:

They are awesome!!! And they've almost always been previously owned. I usually don't know by whom. They are 20+ years old. They're hardly ever "flawless." Don't expect perfection. I do my best to note possible flaws or potentially negative characteristics in each item, but be aware that there may be the odd loose seam, pin hole, crease, etc. There may be a faint musty odor if it's something I can't easily wash. There might be minor fading from having been worn and washed. But rest assured, I wouldn't sell anything I wouldn't wear myself!

Vintage shoes are especially awesome and I love buying/selling/wearing them! But please be aware that all shoes have an unknown but definite expiration date...some last 30 years, some last 60 years, some last 120 years, some can walk 1000 miles and look phenomenal and others can walk 30 miles and fall apart. This is a sad reality. I do my best to inspect all my shoes for potential problems before I buy/sell them. I hate to admit it, but I have bent and broken many a vintage shoe sole while out treasure hunting. If it's a shoe I can fit on my foot, I will try it on and walk around in it to test it out before selling it to you. My point is: I try hard to not sell shoes that are past their expiration date, but sometimes it's impossible to tell. Therefore, I cannot make shoe lifespan guarantees, and I cannot accept shoe returns if they bust.

Thanks for understanding! :)

Info about measurements:

All measurements are in inches. They are taken with the item laying flat, doubled if applicable, and if the fabric is stretchy, I'll usually stretch it a reasonable amount and give you that measurement too. Sleeve measurements are taken from top of shoulder to the cuff. Shoe measurements - I do the best I can, but sometimes it's hard to get an accurate interior measurement.

My mannequin's measurements are: 34" bust, 25.5" waist, 36" hips. I generally don't pin items on her unless they're way too big and won't stay on her otherwise. So fit-wise, what you see is what you get. I don't pin items to make them look more flattering or appealing! That's a huge pet peeve of mine!

---------------------------------------------------------

What decade is that from?

Almost all the items in my shop are vintage. (Occasionally I list items I personally make or upcycle, and that will be specified in the listing.) I don't usually remember to list the probable decade of manufacture in the listing details, but it will always be written in the title, like this: *60s*

--------------------------------------------------------

My vintage clothing rating system:

I rate the condition of each item as follows:

-- EXCELLENT: no visible defects or flaws, clean, ready to wear
-- VERY GOOD: shows signs of age, gently used, or may need simple repairs, laundering or dry cleaning
-- GOOD: has flaws that might need attention before being worn, may have a hole, stain, or other significant flaw you might want to repair
-- FAIR: Multiple flaws, might need significant repairs, but it's still in the shop because there's some interesting or valuable quality to it
